On July 5, Trina Solar’s State Key Laboratory of PV Science and Technology (SKL PVST) announced that its proprietary industrial larger-area 210mm×210mm high-efficiency PERC solar cell, has achieved the efficiency of 24.5%, independently confirmed by National Institute of Metrology, China. It sets a new record for 210 P-type monocrystalline silicon PERC cells. This is the 24th time Trina Solar creates a new world record, manifesting the company’s long-standing technology leadership.</p>

On June 28, the ceremony marking the start of construction of the Trina Solar (Xining) New Energy Industrial Park project was held in Xining, provincial capital of the central Chinese province of Qinghai. The project will cover almost the entire PV manufacturing chain from polysilicon production to modules based on 210 and N-type technology.</p>

<strong>10GW N-type modules on the way, for higher customer value</strong></p>

Trina Solar has been recognized as an “Overall High Achiever” in the PV Module Index Report 2022 published by the independent Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) in California. Trina Solar’s ultra-high power 670W series modules offer excellent reliability, superb performance and superior quality, and have passed a number of RETC tests that are significantly more rigorous than the IEC standard. This marks the third consecutive year that Trina Solar has received this award.</p>

The Fishery Photovoltaic Project, with total installed capacity of 70MW, in Nandagang industry park in Cangzhou, Hebei province, China has been connected to the grid recently, fully equipped with Trina Solar's Vertex 670W modules and n-type Vertex 690W modules. Trina Solar has once again made it to the <strong>list of Tier 1 PV module makers</strong> in the Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) market outlook for the second quarter, thanks to its outstanding reliability, 100% bankability and expanding production capacity. With the AAA rating, the highest category, in the PV ModuleTech Bankability report published last week, Trina Solar has become the only module supplier to achieve both AAA rating by PV Tech and Tier 1 PV module maker by BNEF.</p>
